KazAPO is an important body in the transport logistics industry

TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2022 anniversary exhibition participant - Kazakhstan Association of Carriers and Operators of Wagons (Containers) (KazAPO) is a profile organization that for more than 18 years brings together and represents the interests of major domestic companies - wagon owners and carriers, representing more than 100 thousand wagons to consumers and providing freight wagons for about 80% of the country's economic needs in rail transportation.

The Association protects the rights and legitimate interests of wagon owners and carriers in the state authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in various international organizations, conducts practical work to expand and strengthen partnerships with the national railway company and its subsidiaries.

Representatives of the Association directly participate in the work of the Subcommittee on Railway Transport of the Advisory Committee on Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Commission on Wagon facilities of the Railway Transport Council of CIS and Baltic railway administrations form and improve the legal base for the activities of representing wagons for transportation, participate in developing requirements for new types of wagons and their operation.

KazAPO performs the functions of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NCE RK) in the industry of providing operator services on the railway transport.

KazAPO actively participates in the work of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MIID RK), the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MNE RK), the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan (APDC RK), and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company JSC to implement the tasks set by the President of the country to provide the rolling stock for transportation needs of the economy.

Managers and specialists of the companies are members of the Expert Councils on Entrepreneurship under the MIID RK, MNE RK and APDC, Committee of Logistics and Transportation and Subcommittee on Railway Transport of the Committee of Logistics and Transportation of the Atameken NCE JSC, KAZLOGISTICS Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan.

Due to the established mechanism of interaction with state authorities and public organizations, the proposals of carriers and wagon owners are included in the plans for implementing the state technical and technological policy and improving the legal base that defines the principles of relations in railway transport.

KazAPO cooperating with the Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC CFCFA), the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) develops regional cooperation, solves the problems of domestic wagon owners abroad, promotes the experience of Kazakhstan on cooperation between business and government.

Systematic communication of managers and specialists of companies on the site of the Association allows to analyze, quickly identify threats to implementation of operator's activities and take measures to improve the stable operation of companies in conditions of constant changes in the political situation in the world.
