Response to warehouse shortage: Eurasian Logistics Park completes construction

ELP

The Eurasian Logistics Park is completing the construction of an industrial and logistics park in 2025, which will become one of the largest in Kazakhstan. The project is a response to the acute shortage of warehouse space in Almaty, which already exceeds 700,000 square meters.

A large–scale investment project is being implemented in the Talgar district of the Almaty region - the construction of a Eurasian Logistics Park. The building area is 10 hectares, the total area of class "A" warehouses is 50,000 square meters. The project is aimed at optimizing and accelerating commodity flows in Kazakhstan, as well as at developing international transport infrastructure.

The location of the park was chosen taking into account its strategic importance: just 24 kilometers from the center of Almaty, the country's largest metropolis. The warehouse complex is located on the first line of the Kuldzhinsky tract, in the immediate vicinity of the BAKAD transport interchange. The new fleet will be integrated into a transport route connecting Europe, Asia and the Caspian region, providing businesses with access to modern and uninterrupted logistics infrastructure.

A distinctive feature of the complex is the unique location and compliance of the project with international standards, which was made possible by partnership with foreign companies with extensive experience in the construction of warehouse and logistics infrastructure.

The developer of the project is the Russian company Aurora Development, which has significant experience in the design and construction of warehouse infrastructure. During the implementation of the project, the experience of building and operating the largest Russian logistics hubs was used, which made it possible to apply the best practices gained over decades of development of the Russian market.

The key financial partner of the project was the Eurasian Development Bank, which made it possible to ensure timely financing of all stages of construction.

Already at the completion stage, the facility is attracting increased interest from Kazakhstani and foreign companies, proving that the demand for rental of Class A warehouses significantly exceeds the current supply.

The new warehouse complex will become a key stage in the development of Kazakhstan's logistics network, ensure reliable storage and handling of goods, and create additional business expansion opportunities for both Kazakhstani and international players.
