Increase of the Transit Potential of the South Kazakhstan Region
October 29-30, Shymkent will host the 1st South-Kazakhstan International Exhibition, “Silk Way Transport, Logistics & Infrastructure 2015”.
The aim of the project is the increase of the transit potential of the South Kazakhstan region and development of transport and warehouse infrastructure in the area. The main themes of the exhibition will be transport, logistics, transport infrastructure, warehousing equipment and road construction.
The exposition will present over 50 companies from Kazakhstan, Belorussia and Russia which include the National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” and its affiliations, Asia Techno Complect, CK Logistics, Continental Logistics, Dala-Trans, Damu Logistics, DHL Logistics, Interlink Global Services, Nimex-Trans, Association of the National Expeditors of Republic of Kazakhstan, Atasu Group of Companies, Shymkent Airport, Kifato MK Central Asia, Logitex, Transport and Logistics Zone, and many others.
The exhibition participants will present services in the field of transportation of passengers and goods by different types of transport; of design, construction and equipment of warehouses for various applications; of road construction; of diagnostics and repair of special vehicles. Also, the exhibition will present road-building machinery, trucks and spare parts; special vehicles and truck cranes; systems for optimisation of transport logistics, etc.
As a part of the exhibition, October 29, the Conference “Development of Transport Potential and Logistics Infrastructure in the South-Kazakhstan Region” will be held. It will be attended by the Deputy Akim of the South Kazakhstan Region Saparbek Tuyakbayev, the Chairman of the Board of the NC “SEC ‘Shymkent’” Talgat Alpysbayev, the Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the SKR Zhenisbek Dulatov and heads of Kazakhstani and foreign enterprises.
During the exhibition, particular attention will be paid to shaping the development of the national transport and logistics infrastructure in the framework of the state program “Nurly Jol”, enhancing the role of business in the development of the transport and logistics infrastructure, constructing the international airport in the City of Shymkent and many other burning issues of the logistics infrastructure development in the SKR.
The organiser of the project “Silk Way Transport, Logistics & Infrastructure 2015” is the Akimat of the South Kazakhstan Region. The official support is provided by the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the South Kazakhstan Region “Atameken”, JSC NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, Union of Kazakhstan transport workers “Kazlogistics”, Association of the National Expeditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ANEK), Kazakhstan Association of Carriers and Operators of Railcar Operators (KazAPO) and LLP “MC ‘Transport and Logistics Zone’”.
