DB Cargo Eurasia: A Rail Bridge Between China and Europe

DB Cargo Eurasia 2026

DB Cargo Eurasia GmbH will participate in TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026, where it will present its expertise in the Eurasian Corridor and its approach to organizing rail freight transportation between China and Europe.

Deutsche Bahn (DB) has been active on the Eurasian Corridor since 2008, responding to the growing demand for block train and individual container transportation between China and Europe by rail. What initially started as a project-based solution evolved into a regular and reliable service by 2011, becoming an integral part of modern intercontinental logistics chains.

DB Cargo Eurasia acts as the DB operator and service provider on the Eurasian Corridor. Together with its subsidiary DB Cargo Transasia in China, the company forms the DB Cargo network from the eastern external border of the European Union. This ensures a continuous flow of freight volumes to and from China within the DB Cargo rail network and their seamless integration into European logistics chains.

For customers, the transcontinental rail connections between China and Europe provide a competitive and environmentally friendly alternative to time-consuming sea freight and cost-intensive air freight. This transport solution is particularly valuable in today's increasingly volatile global environment, contributing to more resilient, sustainable, and predictable supply chains.

Visiting the DB Cargo Eurasia stand at TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 will provide logistics professionals and cargo owners with an opportunity to learn more about the company's approach to rail freight transportation along the Eurasian Corridor. Potential customers will discover how rail connections between China and Europe can serve as an alternative to sea and air transport while supporting more reliable and resilient supply chains.

Together with its partners along the Eurasian Corridor, DB Cargo Eurasia continues to develop its services, improve quality and reliability, and strengthen rail freight transport as an efficient bridge between the economic regions of Europe and Asia.

TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 will take place on October 14–16 at EXPO International Exhibition Centre in Astana.
