On behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf I am glad to welcome the exhibitors and guests to the International exhibition “Transit-Kazakhstan 2013”!

The exhibition, devoted to the future development of transport and communications complex of the Eurasian continent, gives a complete overview of all types of modern transport and logistics systems for transit, the future development of the transport infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the dynamics of growth in transit traffic in the Eurasian area, as well as strengthening the image of our country as a transit state.

The “Transit-Kazakhstan” exhibition, being a platform for productive dialogue between the representatives of the transport industry, offers a unique opportunity to discuss and address current issues of the industry, promotes the development of transport infrastructure related industries, creating favorable conditions for the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships.

I am confident it will contribute to the further development of transit potential of Kazakhstan and promote effective cooperation between enterprises and companies of Kazakhstan, the CIS and other foreign countries.

Dear ladies and gentlemen!

On behalf of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” is pleased to welcome the participants and guests of the International Exhibition “Transit-Kazakhstan – 2013”.

The Exhibition “Transit- Kazakhstan” is an annual business platform for representatives of the transport sector, where the most pressing problems and development prospects, the new forms of interaction between different modes of transport, the promotion of logistics issues in the global market of transport and logistics services are discussed.

On the instructions of the Head of State, Nursultan Nazarbayev a purposeful activity to revive the Silk Road was begun, where JSC “NC “KTZ” allotted the integrator role of transport services linking into a single service.

In this regard, a multimodal company aimed at increasing export and transit potential of Kazakhstan, development of contract logistics, development of new routes for cargo between Asia - Europe was created on the basis of JSC “NC “KTZ”.

I am sure that this Exhibition will make a strong contribution to the effective development of transport and communication complex and will contribute a mutually beneficial partnership of the transport market participants of the near and far abroad.

The development of transport logistics is a priority for Kazakhstan, one of the conditions for successful implementation of the State Program for forced industrial and innovative development of the country. By 2016, it is planned to create in the country an adequate and competitive system of transport logistics, which will provide Kazakhstan the status of logistics business-hub of the region.

It is encouraging to note that over the past 17 years the Transit-Kazakhstan exhibition is the only and the most important event in the transport industry of our country and is rightfully considered the largest specialized exhibition for transport and logistics in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.
